— WWE and The Revival are “battling” over intellectual property rights, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. It appears as if the Revival are headed out of the company next month with AEW as the most likely landing spot. As a result, WWE has filed for trademarks for the names “The Mechanics”, which was a name that the Revival used in the past. The company has also applied for the rights to the term “No Flips, Just Fists” which is a phrase the tag team is also trying to secure.

— For the NXT TV show following WrestleMania, WWE is actually going ahead and taping it on Tuesday and then airing it in its normal Wednesday timeslot. There’s no official word on why but a likely reason is that they are hoping to capitalize on the WrestleMania interest and tourism as there’s a better chance that people will stick around for another wrestling show on Tuesday than on Wednesday. It also makes more sense economically as most of the WWE production crew would already be in Tampa for Monday’s Raw.
