Joey Janela’s Spring Break III has already sold out the White Eagle Hall in New Jersey, a little over one minute after tickets were released. The event, put on by Game Changer Wrestling, has become one of the most anticipated and bizarre shows of the WrestleMania season in just two short years, quickly becoming a must-see part of the long weekend experience.

We know a few things, despite the show being a little over five months away. We know that GCW traditionally allows Joey Janela to execute some of his most ridiculous stuck-in-the-90s childhood fever dreams. We also know that Joey is currently very injured, so he’s probably going to spend the next few months coming up with even more insane moments than we could have ever previously anticipated.

And finally, the first competitor announced for SBIII is – and I can’t believe I’m about to type this – the 61-year-old Japanese legend Atsushi Onita, protege of Giant Baba, trained in the dark arts by Dick Beyer and Terry Funk, and one of the true pioneers of bringing death match wrestling to Japan.

If you’ve never seen one of these truly unique GCW events, we highly recommend checking out the replay of Joey Janela’s Spring Break 2 on FITE TV. The show featured Janela taking on the Great Sasuka in the main event.
