More On Dusty Classic Finals

As noted, tonight is the NXT Takeover New Orleans go-home edition of NXT, and WWE.com has released the following preview for the show:

Roderick Strong & Pete Dunne square off with Authors of Pain in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic FinalKillian Dain to clash with Lars Sullivan as the NXT North American Title Ladder Match approachesKairi Sane and Vanessa Borne face off in the NXT Women’s Division

The illustrious Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will reach its conclusion tonight when The Authors of Pain take on Roderick Strong & WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne in the final round. Akam & Rezar look to repeat as winners of the Classic by defeating the makeshift team of Strong & Dunne. However, The Messiah of the Backbreaker & The BruiserWeight should by no means be underestimated, having proved their mettle throughout the early stages of the tournament, despite having very little experience as tag team partners.

Whichever tandem prevails is also guaranteed an NXT Tag Team Title opportunity this Saturday at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans. However, a cloud of uncertainty hangs around that contest due to an injury suffered by Bobby Fish of the NXT Tag Team Champions Undisputed ERA. Will we get an update on how Fish’s injury will impact the NXT Tag Team Title Match heading into Saturday night?

Tune in tonight to see history in the making as NXT streams on WWE Network at 8/7 C.
