Speaking in an interview with Le Parisien, Marseille striker Valère Germain responded to speculation that Portuguese manager André Villas-Boas might leave the club this summer.

“It would be a huge disappointment. I don’t believe it, even though I admit I am not inside his head. He had the ability, this season, to reinstate confidence throughout the squads, to find the necessary words to give us the desire to make collective efforts again. He repeated to us again at the beginning of quarantine: he is very attached to us and to the club.”
