Tonight, this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown Live airs live from The Capital One Arena in Washington, DC and is the official go-home show for the WWE Royal Rumble this weekend.

Following last night’s historic WWE Raw 25 episode, the focus now shifts solely onto Sunday’s Royal Rumble event, with SmackDown being the final place for superstars to gain some momentum heading into the show.

So far WWE has announced three matches ahead of time, with the newly crowned United States Champion, Bobby Roode set to team with New Day to face Jinder Mahal and Rusev Day. As well as that, Naomi will face Liv Morgan and Chad Gable goes one on one with Jey Uso.
