Following her fight against Bethe Correia last night at UFC 190, “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey paid tribute to WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper who passed away this week at the age of 61.
After the fight, Ronda said: “We lost a really close friend, ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper, who gave me permission to use his name as a fighter. I hope he and my dad had a good time watching this today.”
Rousey retained her UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship in the main event of UFC 190 after knocking out her opponent Bethe Correia in just 34 seconds.
