— For overseas bookings, Ric Flair’s appearance fee is $30,000 plus two first class plane tickets (for himself and his agent). His agent, Elaine Gillespie, is insisting all money up front for Flair, which usually isn’t done. The standard for top stars is to get half the money in advance in case things fall through so that they don’t give up a date they could have done elsewhere. Also, Flair was in talks with Coca-Cola about some possible speaking engagements, but publicity from TMZ caused the soda company to pull out. Coca-Cola didn’t pull out from publicity of his daughter being arrested, but because of the photo with the black eye that circulated online, which you can see at this link. Flair still has a deal with several Southeastern Wal-Marts.

The Lakeland Mirror out of Wisconsin has a story Lakeland College football player Josh Shaw, son of former WWE-WCW wrestler Mike Shaw (a.k.a. Bastion Booger, Norman the Lunatic, Makhan Singh). The story notes that Mike Shaw is currently running a wrestling school in Skandia, Michigan. You can read the article at this link. Josh Shaw’s player profile can be seen at the following link. He looks somewhat similar to the former Bastion Booger except he has Ricky Ortiz-like hair.
