PSG’s 1st team squad trained at the Camp des Loges this Monday morning, with just two days to go until their Champions’ League Round of 16 2nd leg clash with Borussia Dortmund, which will now be played behind closed doors.

The good news for Les Parisiens was that Thiago Silva participated in the session, having recovered more quickly than expected from a recent knock.

RMC now anticipate that the Brazilian will start on Wednesday night as PSG look to overturn the 1-goal deficit suffered in the tie’s 1st leg.

However, the session occurred without Kylian Mbappé present, with the French attacker suffering from a sore throat.

Further disruption came when it emerged that Edinson Cavani, who Thomas Tuchel appears to prefer to Mauro Icardi for Wednesday’s game, had to leave the training session early owing to what Goal France were reporting as “personal reasons.”

This all comes after Les Parisiens were unable to play their previously scheduled Ligue 1 clash with Strasbourg on Saturday following last minute concerns from local authorities around COVID-19 which brought the game to be postponed to a yet to be determined later date.
