Winter’s chill and sunlight shortage can leave you feeling less than inspired, but Olivia Palermo just proved she’s immune to the season’s beauty blues by embracing it. The star took yet another look you’ve eyed on your favorite Instagram beauty bloggers’ feeds, and shown us how it can work IRL on the red carpet of Monday’s British Fashion Awards in London.

Rather than sticking with tried-and-true silver and charcoal shades to create Palermo’s smoky eye, celebrity makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury turned to a cool shimmery navy shadow that’s nothing like the neon blue shade that was the staple of your middle school makeup routine. As an early holiday gift to us all, the makeup legend shared the exact products she used to get Palermo ready for the red carpet on her Instagram.

Tilbury swept the shadow from her Nocturnal Cat Eyes to Hypnotize Eyeshadow & Eye Pencil in Midnight Seduction ($39; nordstrom.com) across the star’s lids and shaded using the eye pencil. For added definition, Tilbury lined Palermo’s eyes with her brand’s Rock ‘n’ Kohl Iconic Liquid Eye Pencil in Bedroom Black ($27; nordstrom.com), a black liquid-gel hybrid pencil, and finished with a few coats of her volume and lengthening Full Fat Lashes 5 Star Mascara in Glossy Black ($29; nordstrom.com).

A foolproof sign that you’ve combated seasonal sadness is a fresh, glowing complexion so Tilbury created an even base on Palmero using her brand’s cult-favorite Magic Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 ($44; nordstrom.com), and vanished any traces of under-eye dark circles with her Mini Miracle Eye Wand Dynamic Duo Lift & Light Reflector ($45; nordstrom.com). Tilbury added subtle definition to Palmero’s face using the highlight and contour shades in her Filmstar Bronze & Glow Face Sculpt & Highlight ($68; nordstrom.com). Finally, to keep the focus on Palmero’s eyes, Tilbury finished the look by lining the star’s lips with her Lip Cheat Re-Size & Re-Shape Lip Liner in Pillowtalk ($22; nordstrom.com), and a coat of K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Nude Kate ($32; nordstrom.com), a peachy nude.
