Wrestle Kingdom 14 has its first title change, as 2019 World Tag League winners Juice Robinson and David Finlay have defeated the Guerrillas of Destiny to become the new IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, live from the historic Tokyo Dome.

The duo, collectively known as FinJuice, steamrolled through the largest single block in World Tag League history this past December, ending with 26 points and a final record of 13-2. One of those two losses happened to come at the hands of GoD, but that win wasn’t enough to shake the young, rising stars’ confidence on arguably the biggest night of their careers.

This win marks the first IWGP title win for David FInlay, son of the legendary Fit Finlay, although he is a former NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion as well. Robinson adds the belts to his two reigns as IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion, and will hope to continue his momentum on Night 2 of Wrestle Kingdom tomorrow, when he will attempt to win back that very same belt.
