Ligue 1 side FC Nantes have threatened to report Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt to FIFA as tension grows around the future of striker Randal Kolo Muani (22) report L’Équipe.

FCN believe Frankfurt have not respected FIFA rules on transfers in their alleged pursuit of the player, currently away with the France Olympic squad, having rejected an initial offer of €5m.

In the preceding months, Kolo Muani’s advisers have been leaning more and more towards a move away from Nantes with the club having failed to extend the striker’s current deal which ends next summer.

Kolo Muani had impressed throughout what became a breakout season in 2020/21, playing in a range of roles across the attack for four different coaches as his club struggled against relegation before ultimately winning their relegation play-off against Toulouse.
