After eight explosions rocked Sri Lanka on April 21, the death toll has increased to 310. Local outfit in the country National Tawheed Jamath is suspected to be behind the blasts. Churches and hotels were attacked that killed a celebrity chef as well as her daughter.

Sri Lankan celebrity chef Shantha Mayadunne and her daughter Nisanga Mayadunne were among hundreds of people killed on Sunday. Minutes before the terror attack rattled three high-end hotels, Nisanga had shared a photo of the family having breakfast at the Shangri-La hotel in Colombo.
