Jon Moxley is dealing with an undisclosed elbow injury. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it may be an infection he picked up while wrestling in Japan, although that has yet to be confirmed.

The IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion worked a match against Pentagon Jr. last weekend for Northeast Wrestling in New York, and was noticeable favoring the arm, making sure not to take any serious bumps on the injured elbow.

Moxley is coming off 4-5 weeks of non-stop wrestling, competing in the 2019 G1 Climax tournament where he finished third in his block with 10 points, narrowly being kept out of the G1 Finals after losing to former champion Juice Robinson on the final night of block competition.

His next scheduled match is on August 31 at All Elite Wrestling’s highly anticipated All Out pay-per-view in Chicago, where the “Lunatic Fringe” will be in action against Kenny Omega.
