On July 7th the superstars of New Japan Pro Wrestling invade the world-famous Cow Palace in San Francisco for a massive event, broadcast live on AXS TV to kick off the 2018 G1 Climax tournament.

The “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes has released a brand new video playing narrator/maniacal super villain as he introduced the members of Bullet Club that will be competing at next month’s special.

It’s an interesting take as we hear from the likes of Hangman Page, Marty Scurll, and the Young Bucks before their big matches in San Francisco, but there may be some hidden messages in the way the video was produced. For instance, faction OG Tama Tonga was cut short before he could seemingly issue his own claim to the Bullet Club throne, and the “Best Bout Machine” Kenny Omega – who Cody will face for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship – was completely absent from the video.
