Announced Monday using Rolling Stone to break the news (even though it had been known for months), WWE made it known that Kevin Nash will be the final inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, set for Friday as part of Wrestlemania 31 weekend.

The news and video will air on WWE Raw tonight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

What hadn’t been known is what name he would use. There had been material released by WWE and merchandise listing it as ‘Diesel’ going in the HOF and not Nash, so that was clearly the company’s plan at one point. Nash had said many times he would want to go in as Nash, his real name and the name he’s far better known as. In the RS story, Nash said as much and WWE confirmed that he would go in as Nash.
