WWE Payback 2015 PPV Opener:

After the usual bad ass video package opener, we shoot live into the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland for tonight’s WWE Payback pay-per-view.

Michael Cole welcomes us to the show and then Sheamus’ theme music hits. Our first WWE Payback pay-per-view match is about to get underway.

Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler

Sheamus makes his way to the ring and after that, Dolph Ziggler’s theme music hits and out he comes. Highlights are shown of the “Kiss Me Arse” match from Extreme Rules.

The bell sounds and here we go. Early on, surprisingly enough, Ziggler is in control, as he has Sheamus selling his knee. Sheamus eventually ovrturns the control but it doesn’t last long, as Ziggler starts stringing together another offensive series.

While Ziggler was in control of the offense for a long enough time, he got Sheamus in the corner and wiped his face all over his ass. Sheamus rolled out to the floor and sold it big time. Back in the ring, Ziggler hits the FameAsser for the close nearfall.

Sheamus staets blasting the hell out of Ziggler and now Ziggler is bleeding like crazy. The blood is believed to be from a head butt. The action is stopped to check the cut. Once the action resumes, Sheamus immediately blasts Ziggler with a Brogue Kick for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Sheamus

Backstage: Kane & Seth Rollins

Backstage, Kane sees Seth Rollins and J&J Security approach him. Rollins asks Kane to forget their differences and cooperate tonight. Kane refuses. He and Rollins argue back and forth. Kane says Rollins gets his wish, if he wins, Kane is no longer Director of Operations, but if he doesn’t, Kane gets his wish and Rollins loses the WWE title.

2-Out-Of-3 Falls WWE Tag-Team Titles: The New Day vs. Tyson Kidd & Cesaro

The New Day comes out and one-by-one they each address the fans in Baltimore. The fans chant “New Day-sucks! New Day-sucks!” They trash one of the Baltimore Orieals in the crowd.

Out next is Cesaro and Tyson Kidd, accompanied by Natalya, for this two-out-of-three falls WWE Tag-Team title match. The bell sounds and here we go. Big E. and Kofi Kingston are representing The New Day as champions in this one.

The New Day controls the action early on, but in the end, Kidd nails Kingston, Cesaro follows up with big the Big Swing into a Kidd dropkick for the 1-2-3. Kidd and Cesaro win the first fall.

After a lengthy back-and-forth second fall, with Kidd isolated in the action by the two active members of the New Day. Eventually, The New Day hits a big double team move for the 1-2-3. The falls are now 1-1. Next fall wins.

The two teams gio back and forth again, with Kidd and Cesaro hitting the coolest set of double-team moves — possibly of all-time. In the end, Cesaro is knocked down and robbed, as Xavier Woods, who wasn’t legally in the match, jumps in when the ref wasn’t looking and rolls him up for the 1-2-3 and the final fall, retaining the titles for The New Day.

Winners 2-1 and STILL WWE Tag-Team Champions: The New Day

Bray Wyatt vs. Ryback

After a particularly kick-ass video package, Bray Wyatt makes his way to the ring for his one-on-one contest with Ryback.

Ryback comes out next, the bell sounds and here we go. Early on, Ryback uses his strength to dominate the methodical Bray Wyatt.

After a few minutes of domination, Wyatt turns the tables by simply launching himself into Ryback off the ropes, similar to a brutal sack in football.

Wyatt gets Ryback to the floor and works him over out there, Wyatt dives off the apron and flips onto Ryback on the floor, Ryback screams in pain.

A Cena-like “let’s go Wyatt” and “Wyatt sucks” dueling chant breaks out. Ryback hits Wyatt with a big splash off the top rope for a close nearfall.

Wyatt goes for Sistai Abigail, but Ryback reverses into a Shellshock attempt. Wyatt escapes and slams Ryback into a turnbuckle with the padding exposed, right into a Sister Abigail. 1-2-3. Wyatt wins.
