The Golden State Warriors have erased a 17-point deficit to defeat the Portland Trail Blazers and take a commanding 2-0 lead in the western conference finals.

The Warriors won 114-111 in Oakland on Friday (AEST).

The home side dominated game one with a 22-point shellacking and appeared headed for a loss with the Trail Blazers leading for most of the game.

Portland were up by 17 points in the third quarter and held an eight-point lead with four minutes left in the final period.
