Leicester City’s Algerian international attacker Riyad Mahrez still intends to leave the club this month despite manager Claude Puel’s statement yesterday that the former Le Havre man would be staying, according to France Football.

Mahrez, according to the report, has a gentleman’s agreement with the Leicester president that enables him to leave this month. Claude Puel obviously wants to keep the player, such is Mahrez’s indispensability to the Foxes’ play at the moment.

But the player wants something else.
