Rihanna has been hard at work-work-work-work-work! The singer, who already has a highly-successful lingerie brand, Savage x Fenty, an apparel collection with Puma, Fenty x Puma, is reportedly working on her most high-fashion collection yet.
According to WWD, the singer has been in secret talks with the luxury group conglomerate, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, to create her very own high-end label under her name. LVMH is the company behind many of fashion’s most recognizable brands, including Christian Dior, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton, to name a few.

WWD‘s sources say that LVMH already has put a team together to work on the launch with the singer, which may be released to coincide with the drop of her ninth studio album that’s reportedly expected to come out within the year. She recently filmed herself in the studio, giving fans a glimpse of the recording consoles, and in a June cover story with Vogue, she announced that she’s planning on making a reggae album.
LVMH has worked with Rihanna on another one of her lifestyle ventures, Fenty Beauty, which hit shelves in 2017. Her 40-shade foundation range (beloved by stars like Viola Davis and Get Out‘s Daniel Kaluuya) has been a monster success in the beauty industry. At launch, fans also praised the star for creating products that cater to a vast range of skin tones — and they continue to laud the star for her inventive new product lineups, which as of this month includes 50 concealer shades.
Seeing as she’s already collaborated with the giant luxury brand in the past (remember her limited-edition sunglass line she designed for Dior?) her very own line does not seem far fetched.
In fact, eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out that the singer donned a brand new pair of shades while out and about earlier this week that featured “Fenty” along the sides. Perhaps it’s a first glimpse of what’s to come.
