Le Parisien have this evening confirmed English press reports that PSG are continuing to monitor the possibility of signing 28-year-old left-back Danny Rose.

Despite interest from Schalke 04, the full-back much prefers a move to PSG, who are continuing to pursue a deal for Juventus’ Alex Sandro but fear that they will not be successful in matching the price required owing to their own Financial Fair Play constraints.

The outlet claims that Tottenham are willing to rid of Rose, despite now not being able to sign a replacement, as they feel that Jan Vertonghen and Serge Aurier can cover.

Spurs prefer to sell the player, but would even accept a loan deal at this stage.
