As reported by Fabrizio Romano, 20-year-old Italian striker Pietro Pellegri is expected to complete a move from AS Monaco to AC Milan in the coming hours, having missed training on Friday morning.

Pellegri has made just 23 appearances in all competitions for ASM since arriving at the club in 2018.

The deal is expected to be a season-long loan deal with a €1m fee, with a €6m option to buy that would turn into an obligation in the event that the Italian youth international makes a certain number of appearances.

ASM would like the obligation to buy to exist regardless of his playing time, according to sources contacted by Get French Football News, which is why the deal is not closed yet.
