Speaking to RFI, OGC Nice manager Patrick Vieira was asked about Liverpool and Mali winger Sadio Mané finishing 4th in the 2019 Ballon D’Or classification.
“I thought it was unjust. I found unjust in terms of what he had done, in terms of how many matches he played, in terms of the number of times in which he made a difference. The impact that he had on goals, but especially the way in which he carried himself on the pitch… I think that he deserved much more than this 4th place.”
