As previously reported, The NWA recently announced that Jazz has vacated The NWA Women’s Title and she has been pulled from this coming Saturday’s Crockett Cup Event due to undisclosed reasons.
After the news broke out, Jazz would then take to her official Twitter page to explain the situation.
Jazz wrote, “Due to medical and personal issues in my life at this time.” “I’m having to turn the belt over without defending it. I will post again soon… Thanks for your support.”
Jazz would then post a second tweet commenting further on the subject.
Jazz added, “[Shout out] to [NWA] for giving me the opportunity of being the best Women’s Champion. One helluva run. Got to work some of the best talent in the game today.. hopefully this will not be the end. Until. #Andstill.”
This past Tuesday, The NWA would then announce who will be competing in the match to crown The New NWA Women’s Champion at this Saturday night’s event.
The NWA took to their official Twitter page and announced that Allysin Kay will be facing Santana Garrett for The Vacant NWA Women’s Championship. It was also teased that a women’s wrestling legend will be on hand to present The NWA Women’s Championship to the winner of the vacant title match at Saturday’s show.
