Nikki Bella has not wrestled for WWE ever since she was proposed to by John Cena after their match at Wrestlemania 33. Instead, she is going to be trying something completely different out. After weeks of rumors, it was confirmed today that Nikki Bella is joining the cast of Dancing with the Stars for their upcoming 25th season. She is going to be partnered with Artem Chigvintsev during the show. Nikki becomes the third wrestler to land a spot on the show, following Stacy Keibler in 2006 and Chris Jericho in 2011. Other stars announced for the show include the NFL’s Terrell Owens, actor Frankie Muniz, Shark Tank’s Barbara Corcoran, as well as Nick and Vanessa Lachey.

On the subject of the Bellas, the E! reality series Total Bellas is returning tonight. This is the second season of the Total Divas spinoff show. The network revealed that the premise of this season will see John Cena and Nikki Bella abandon their lavish lifestyles, and move into the modest home of Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella, which is the opposite of last season’s premise. PWInsider also claims that the show is going to focus on Nikki Bella getting engaged to John Cena at Wrestlemania this year, as well as Daniel and Brie preparing for their first child to arrive. As noted, the Bellas have not competed in a match in months, though both have expressed interest in returning to the ring together someday.
A new WWE Studios film was quietly released earlier this week. Killing Hasselhoff is the name of the dark comedy, and it centers around a nightclub owner in debt to a loan shark who decides to repay his debts by killing the titular celebrity David Hasselhoff. Ken Jeong, Jon Lovitz, Colton Dunn, and Rhys Darby are some of the stars in the film. This film project was halted a few years ago because it featured a few scenes with Hulk Hogan during the same time that his controversial Gawker scandal was going on. Hogan’s scenes are not included in the final product, but they can be found in the deleted scenes section of the home video release.
