– Rey Mysterio begins physical therapy and rehab next week after undergoing his latest knee surgery last Friday. He tweeted on Monday afternoon:
“Had my first check-up; knee was drained & needs 2 B stable, won’t start therapy until nxt week! Have to ice & rest..”
As we’ve been reporting, Mysterio is expected to be out of action until early 2012, with WWE hoping he’ll be healthy in time for WrestleMania in April.
– WWE’s writing staff is said to be extremely stressed out as of late. There is a ton of pressure from management to make Tuesday’s live SmackDown special a ratings success, since WWE reportedly wants to move SmackDown to Tuesday nights permanently.
– The release of Paul Heyman’s autobiography has been delayed once again. Due to scheduling conflicts this fall that would have prevented Heyman from doing a proper promotional tour, the book will now come out in early 2012.
