Monaco President Dmitry Rybolovlev was taken into custody on Tuesday morning along with his lawyer, Tetiana Bersheda, according to Libération.
The Russian oligarch had filed a legal complaint at the beginning of 2015 against his art dealer, Yves Bouvier, for allegedly scamming him for several millions of Euros.
A counter-claim appears to have been made concerning a possible invasion of privacy against the Monaco president.
In a statement, Rybolovlev denied any wrong-doing an insists that he attended what was merely a “hearing” today.
