Speaking to BeIN Sports, PSG central defender Marquinhos discussed the club’s departure from the competition at the hands of Real Madrid.

“It is very frustrating. It is hard to be eliminated from this competition because that was our principal aim. It shows that we still have to work, be more mature and have more experience, we have seen that Real knew how to make a difference with certain small details, where we were worse than them. I think that we cannot win this competition immediately, like everyone told us, we need to lose a lot to learn and to win this competition. We will continue to work because we made a lot of mistakes in terms of concentration.”
