According to our colleagues at L’Équipe, Lyon are closing in on agreeing a provisional contract with Dynamo Moscow’s Mathieu Valbuena.

This would be a major step in the right direction for OL, who would then need to find an agreement with the Russian side for them to part with the player. Valbuena is understood to have accepted a big salary hit in order to at least attempt to make this move happen.
