Speaking on entertainment show Presenting, West Ham United and England footballer Jesse Lingard discussed Kylian Mbappé and backed him to become the next Ballon D’Or.

“I don’t know him on a personal level, but from what you see, a brilliant footballer, the world’s at his feet. I think if he carries on now, the way he’s doing, the way he’s playing, he can be the next Ballon d’Or. He seems like a nice guy off the pitch, I’ve seen a few Insta stories of him and Neymar always messing about and stuff, and like I say, giving good vibes off and positivity. I rate that highly.”
