Is Alessandra Ambrosio making her last walk as an Angel?
According to reports, Ambrosio might be ditching her wings after close to two decades with Victoria’s Secret, following this year’s show in Shanghai, China.

Fashionista reported the rumors over the weekend, citing Victoria’s Secret fan accounts and Imonation, which said that Brazilian model will be leaving the company. Ambrosio — who first walked the Victoria’s Secret runway in 2001 — became a PINK ambassador in 2006. This will be her 17th time walking in the show.
Ambrosio wore the $2.5 million fantasy bra in 2012. That year’s over-the-top lingerie was covered with rubies, amethysts, sapphires and diamonds. Two years later, she again was tapped for the honor, this time alongside Adriana Lima. They each wore $2 million dollars in jewels.
Before even that, Ambrosio donned 40-pound copper wings, according to CBS. Plated in 23-carat gold, the wings spanned six feet and were encrusted with over 100,000 Swarovski Crystals.
The 36-year-old brought along her 9-year-old daughter — who she called her “favorite angel” on Instagram — for the trek to China.
Since arriving in Shanghai, Ambrosio has posted photos of her attending a friend’s book launch, working out with fellow Angel Elsa Hosk and relaxing in a bubble bath.
Just two days before speculation arose over Ambrosio leaving, Gigi Hadid announced that she won’t be walking in the show despite telling her fans she would attend back in August.

Hadid was reportedly forced to drop out because she was denied a Chinese visa — and she wasn’t the only star who had difficulty getting approval to attend the show. Russian models Irina Sharipov, Julia Belyakova and Kate Grigorieva, along with Ukrainian model Dasha Khlystun, all have reportedly been denied visas.
Victoria’s Secret has declined to comment about both Ambrosio and Hadid.
