L’Équipe report that Senegalese midfielder Idrissa Gueye will formally complete a €32m transfer from Everton to PSG next week.
Gueye, 29, will sign a 5-year contract with Les Parisiens imminently. A deal had been close for 10 days, but final fee and contract details had not been sorted. However, Everton were resigned to losing a player they fought tooth and nail to keep 6 months ago.
The outlet claims that The Toffees have already found their replacement for him, Mainz defensive midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin.
Les Parisiens had hoped to complete everything at the beginning of this week, but an approach from Manchester United for the Senegalese international slowed things down, with Gueye asking for several days to think before deciding to join PSG instead.
Thomas Tuchel is finally getting his man.
