AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida now has an opponent for tomorrow’s Holiday Bash edition of AEW Dynamite: Alex Gracia.
Gracia defeated KiLynn King on Tuesday’s edition of Dark to earn the non-title opportunity, picking up her first-ever AEW win with a neckbreaker. She made her promotional debut in September and has lost to Penelope Ford, Ivelisse, Leva Bates, and Nyla Rose thus far.
Shida is preparing to face top challenger Abadon at some point in the future. The champion has won 22 straight singles or four-way matches dating back to January 1st of this year with five successful title defenses.
Wednesday’s show will air after the Boston Celtics/Milwaukee Bucks NBA game and is expected to start around 10 PM Eastern.
