MOORHEAD, Minn. — Minnesota State University Moorhead wrestling coach Kris Nelson has announced that Brayden Ortloff of Detroit Lakes, Minn., has signed a national letter of intent to continue his athletic and academic career at MSUM in 2018-19.
“We are happy to welcome Brayden to the Dragon wrestling program,” Nelson said. “He is in the midst of a strong high school career and has potential to really make an impact at the collegiate level.”

Ortloff is entering his senior season at Detroit Lakes High School. He is currently ranked No. 1 at 145 pounds in Class AA. He finished fourth in the state as a junior and is a three-time state entrant overall. Ortloff was sixth in the state at 106 pounds as an eighth grader.
He is projected to wrestle at 157 pounds for MSUM.
