Since requesting his release from WWE earlier this year, Cody Rhodes has been creating news with almost every public statement.

And that continued on Tuesday night as he seemed to announce his Ring of Honor debut on Twitter.

Rhodes tweeted “THEY CAN HAVE THE PAINT…I’LL TAKE THE HONOR” along with an image of a poster with his face on it for ROH’s December 2nd Final Battle event. He also told followers that tickets are on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. EST.

Rhodes hasn’t competed in ring since appearing on WWE Superstars in May. He is scheduled to make his return to the ring for EVOLVE on August 19th against Zack Sabre Jr. and will face Chris Hero for the promotion the next night in Brooklyn.

And he is booked for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s Battle of Los Angeles tournament in September, among other independent dates.

Rhodes will also be making an appearance on the next season of Arrow, sharing the screen with former in-ring foe Stephen Amell.
