Angers SCO midfielder Cheikh N’Doye is refusing an ACL operation in a bid to ensure that he is present at this summer’s African Cup of Nations with Senegal, according to Ouest-France.

The 33-year-old, who ruptured the ACL ligaments in one of his knees on the 26th March on international duty with Senegal, 3 weeks ago, still has not decided whether or not to have an operation.

Angers want him to, but N’Doye is hoping instead to nurse his knee through AFCON, which begins on the 21st June in Egypt.
