NASCAR will add some “Flair” to the running of the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 26.
WWE eight-time women’s champion Charlotte Flair will serve as the honorary pace car driver in her hometown of Charlotte, N.C. This will serve as a clever way for Fox, which will start broadcasting SmackDown Live on Fridays on October 4, to promote their new relationship with WWE. The network also announced that Fox Sports 1 will carry a WWE studio show which will cover all things WWE on Tuesday nights.
For those attending the race, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick will perform a free pre-race concert.
