BENFICA have slapped a £67million price tag on Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle target Darwin Nunez, reports suggest.
That is according to Record, who claim that the Portuguese giants have increased Nunez's release clause following Tuesday's match winner at Ajax in the Champions League.
The Magpies have been keeping tabs on the striker since the January transfer window and look set to splash even more cash this summer following their £305m Saudi-led takeover in October.
And Newcastle will need to strengthen up front as Callum Wilson has been stricken with injury whereas Chris Wood has only managed one goal in 10 matches across all competitions so far.
But the Gunners and United recently joined the bidding war as they are in need of striking reinforcements as well.
The north Londoners lost Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Barcelona in January after terminating his contract.

Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are set to become free agents and have yet to agree a new deal with Arsenal.
The Red Devils, on the other hand, are likely to lose Edinson Cavani, whose contract runs out in June, and Anthony Martial, who was shipped out on loan to Sevilla.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo has also been linked with an exit as he is unhappy with the state he found United following his comeback last summer.
However, the Premier League trio are still facing competition around Europe as Barcelona and AC Milan are also big fans of Nunez.
