With ALL IN taking place near CM Punk’s hometown of Chicago, Illinois last weekend, and with “The Best in the World” already appearing at a meet-and-greet at One Hour Tees in Chicago during the weekend of the event, there was a massive buzz within the pro wrestling community about the UFC star making a surprise appearance.
When the show came and went last Saturday night, while it was awesome from top-to-bottom and from start-to-finish, when all was said-and-done, there was no CM Punk.
Scorpio Sky, who teamed with Frankie Kazarian to work a tag-team match against The Briscoes on the “Zero Hour” pre-show on WGN America leading into ALL IN, took to social media on Friday to address the fact that Punk missed the show, and to essentially call him out to appear at a potential second event.
“Hey [CM Punk] you missed a show that would have completely reinstated your love of pro wrestling over the weekend,” wrote Sky via his official Twitter page. “You may hate it now because of your former employer but this is a different world.”
Sky continued, calling out Punk to appear at a potential second ALL IN event.
“Where you at? #ALLIN2,” Sky concluded.
