Matt Hardy and Private Party appeared on tonight’s Impact Wrestling, facing off against Chris Sabin and a returning James Storm.

Impact Tag Team champions The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) came out on tonight’s show to talk about their win at Hard to Kill. Sabin came out and said that his team wanted a rematch, as they never lost the titles. The Good Brothers mentioned that Alex Shelley was still out. Sabin then brought out Storm, who cut a promo putting over him and Sabin as a team.

This brought out Hardy and Private Party. Hardy said that his team came to Impact for a warm-up match, and wanted to face the Impact Tag Team champions. The Good Brothers suggested a match between Private Party and Sabin & Storm, with the winners becoming the number one contenders for the titles.

The two teams had their match in the main event. The finish had Sabin going to the top rope but Jerry Lynn, who was at ringside with AEW President Tony Khan, came to ringside and grabbed Sabin’s feet. This allowed Private Party to win the match with their Gin & Juice finisher. The show ended with Sabin & Storm, Private Party, and The Good Brothers brawling inside the ring.

Private Party will team with Matt Hardy tomorrow on Dynamite to face the team of Matt Sydal and Top Flight.
