Last night’s AEW Dynamite averaged 975,000 viewers on TNT, down 0.4 percent from the previous week. It’s the lowest viewership for the show since July 7.
In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite finished fourth on cable with a 0.35 rating. That’s even with last week’s number.
The strongest demo for Dynamite was men 18-49, where the show drew a 0.50 rating. That led all of cable television.
Year-over-year, Dynamite was up 29.1 percent in overall viewership and up 12.9 percent in the 18-49 demo. That’s being compared to an episode that was moved to a Saturday night immediately following an NBA playoff game on TNT, so the year-over-year increases aren’t quite as large as Dynamite has seen in recent weeks. That said, it’s the eighth straight week the show has had a double-digit increase in year-over-year viewership.
As compared to the average of Dynamite’s last 10 Wednesday night airings, as shown in the chart below, the show was actually down this week. The drops were 2.1 percent in overall viewership and 7.9 percent in the 18-49 demo.
