Chuck Hediger, Dorian Thompson, B.J. Anderson, and Loren Davis were inducted into the Mound-Westonka Wrestling Hall of Fame. The four former Mound-Westonka wrestlers were recognized at meets on Friday, January 29, and Friday, February 5th, 2016.
Chuck Hediger
Chuck was a 2002 graduate of Mound Westonka High School where he compiled a 102-61 record. Chuck was honored in the both the Tri-Metro and Metro Alliance conferences four times, earning both honorable mention and all-conference twice. Chuck was a two-time Lester Prairie Invite champion, and a two-time section place winner. Chuck had an excellent senior season, posting a 32-10 record, placing third in sections, while leading the team to it’s first of four straight Metro Alliance conference championships. Chuck now resides in Brooklyn Park, and is an auto mechanic at United Auto. Congratulations, Chuck!

Dorian Thompson
Dorian was a 2003 graduate of Mound Westonka High School, where he compiled a 106-45 career record. Dorian was honored in the Metro Alliance Conference four times, earning honorable mention his freshman and sophomore seasons, and was all-conference his junior and senior seasons. Dorian was a four-time section place winner, and a state entrant his junior and senior seasons, where he was also a part of back to back conference championships teams. Dorian now volunteers as a White Hawks youth wrestling coach, and owns Thompson Construction. Dorian resides in Mound with his wife Lindsay and their four children: Anna, Joseph, Lily, and Isabella. B.J. Anderson
B.J Anderson was a 1975 graduate of Mound Westonka High School. B.J. was a region qualifier as a sophomore, was a runner-up in districts and part of the Lake Conference Red championship team as a junior, and had an excellent senior season, going undefeated into districts and placing second. He also earned all-conference honors in football and wrestling. B.J. went on to wrestle at Concordia College and graduated with a degree in chemistry. He graduated from medical school at the University of Minnesota in 1986, and has served the wrestling community in several capacities, including team physician for the University of Minnesota and Augsburg College wrestling teams. B.J. also served as the tournament physician for the 2004 U.S. Olympic trials and the 2015 World Championships. Congratulations, B.J.!
Loren Davis
Loren Davis was a 1975 graduate of Mound Westonka High School. As a junior, Loren was a part of the Lake Conference Red championship team that wrestled Wayzata for the overall Lake Conference championship. Loren had an excellent senior season, going 22-3 and winning the Waconia Take Down tournament and the Burnsville Invitational while serving as captain with B.J Anderson and Mark Heitkamp. Loren went on to wrestle at St. Olaf College, where he was all-conference and a Division III National Qualifier. Loren graduated from St. Olaf with a degree in Religion and Philosophy, and a Master’s degree from Luther Theological Seminary in St. Paul. Loren has served as a Lutheran Pastor for 31 years, the last 23 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Navarre. Loren is currently a school board member for the Westonka Schools, and is a pillar of the community. Loren resides in Mound with his wife Kristin, and they have three adult sons: Ben, Nathan, and Aaron. Congratulations, Loren!
