Roman Reigns returned to Raw one week ago and announced that he is in remission for his leukemia. The former Universal Champion wasted no time getting back to work as he will be returning to the ring to reunite The Shield in a match against Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Baron Corbin at Fastlane this weekend. Since Reigns is wrestling again, the Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer has said that he is now scheduled to compete at WrestleMania 35 this year. According to Meltzer, Reigns will most likely be facing Baron Corbin in a singles match during the show. Reigns is also being advertised to wrestle Corbin for several events after WrestleMania, so fans can expect their current feud to last for a while.
Kofi Kingston was originally set to challenge Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at Fastlane this Sunday night. However, Bryan will now be taking on Kevin Owens during the show while Kingston could end up getting the title match at WrestleMania 35 instead. During an interview with Sportskeeda, Big E talked about the growing fan support for his New Day stablemate and the possibility of him earning the shot at WrestleMania. He was asked about the match between Owens and Bryan this weekend, but Big E said that the winner doesn’t matter because they will have to wrestle Kingston next. According to Big E, Kingston will indeed finally get his one-on-one shot at the title during WrestleMania 35.
“I was going to say ‘I don’t care.’ I hope they beat the living heck out of each other because Kofi is going to get his opportunity at WrestleMania. That is the point. These are the people who are pawns. These are the people who are interchangabl faces. Of course they are tremendous talents. Daniel Bryan is arguably the greatest in-ring technician of all time. It’s not about Daniel Bryan, it’s not about Kevin Owens. It’s about Kofi.” said Big E.

Following last week’s Twitter drama, Ronda Rousey went off on Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey during Raw this week. Rousey dropped a few different lines that fans picked up on during her promo, including “Damn The Man” and “Screw the Woo.” Naturally, the Raw Women’s Champion has already managed to turn both of those phrases into t-shirt designs. Rousey is selling the shirts on her website, so they are not affiliated with WWE or are considered official merchandise of the company. Rousey is set to defend her title against Charlotte at WrestleMania 35, but Becky Lynch will be added to the match if she can defeat Flair at Fastlane this weekend.
