The most experienced centre in Super Rugby will take on the most inexperienced when the Brumbies host the Blues in Canberra on Saturday.
Brumbies rookie Len Ikitau will make his Super Rugby debut and has been tasked with stopping All Blacks centurion Ma’a Nonu from charging through his channel.

Nonu, who turns 37 this month, has made a sensational return to the competition this season following a four-year hiatus and the Brumbies admit they’re bracing for impact.
Wallabies and Brumbies prop James Slipper said he’s never had an easy game against Nonu and tipped the Blues to come out firing.
“They’re a quality team with quite a few All Blacks spread out across it, some quick wingers and fullbacks, so we’ll have to do a job up front and give our backs every opportunity to score tries,” Slipper said.
“They’ve got the old bull Ma’a Nonu going really well and a lot of their players are in form so it’s going to be a good challenge.
“(Nonu) is playing really well. He’s always been a pretty formidable opponent, whether it be against the Wallabies or in Super Rugby he’s always played well and that’s one bloke we’re going to have to watch out for.”
The Brumbies have made more tackles than any team this season and skipper Christian Lealiifano said the focus would be getting more ball against the Blues.
Both teams are on four wins and 20 competition points. The Brumbies need to win four of their six remaining games to play finals and Lealiifano believes that run will start this week.
“It’s going to be an exciting game. They’re a quality side that can turn it on. They’re going to be a typical New Zealand side that can hurt you from counterattack,” Lealiifano said.
“Our set piece will have to be on and hopefully we can get the ball in our hands and play some decent footy.
“Once we get it right we know we can definitely make a charge for it and knowing how tight the competition is, we’re definitely not out of it by any means.”
Leallifano also admitted Nonu posed a serious threat.
“He’s been playing really well and is in really good form and can still pack a punch so he’ll be definitely running down my channel,” Lealiifano said.
The Brumbies take on the Blues on Saturday, 7.45pm, at GIO Stadium. LIVE on FoxSports and Kayo Sports, and RUGBY.com.au Radio.
